The exhaust pipe carries waste gas from the engine, a product of the combustion process. Like every other part of the car, the exhaust pipe is subject to wear and tear. As time goes on and the exhaust pipe is in use, it begins to leak. Carbon monoxide, the main gas which passes out through the exhaust pipe may leak into the vehicle’s passenger area. This can be fatal since this gas is extremely poisonous.
