Defection : Gov. Ikpeazu Does Not Have Any Desire To Join APC - PDP


The People's Democratic Party, PDP, on Saturday, said Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State does not have any desire to join the All Progressives Congress, APC.

IGBERE TV had reported that former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu said Ikpeazu promised to join APC.

Reacting over the report in a statement made available to IGBERE TV, Hon. Chief Fabian Nwankwo, Publicity Secretary of PDP described the report as rumour and urged PDP loyalists in the state to continue supporting Ikpeazu.

Nwankwo further advised Senator Kalu to prevail President Muhammadu Buhari to tackle growing insecurity, Economic Retrogression, social Injustice and decay of infrastructure in the country.

IGBERE TV recalls that few weeks ago, Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC despite several denials that he had no such intention.

Either he leaves or stays, it does not change his performance ratings, neither does it change the fact that Abia is in a total mess.

Will joining APC format his brain on good governance?

I just remember he needs the broom to sweep heaps of refuse littering Abia State being the dirtiest state at the moment.

APC is a sinking ship. The party is currently in turmoil. More hands are needed to speed up it's demise.

As buhari leaves for Sudan in 2023, he will be carrying the corpse of APC in his luggage with him.

Being in any political party doesn't necessarily portends good for the Nation.

Even the average endsars youths are afraid of corruption that they refused to elect a leader!

even if he joins or not changes nothing bcox he cnt change the will of the people when it gets to election..
the masses holds more power to vote who would work or go for short term stomach infrastructure and face anoda years of stagnation..
they is no fear abt him switching to apc bcox akpabio did same in my state BT the last election, spent alot of money but d result shows dt my people are just ready to chop his free money BT not ready for APC...we waiting for him next election..
