Sometimes, I just feel that these politicians make these public statements for the sake of plausible deniability and to whip up public emotional support to themselves. As President of the Nigerian Senate, what has Mr. Lawan done with the resources at his disposal to help the security challenges the country is faced with? How many security improvement bills has he, or his support bloc presented for deliberations in the house? Enough of this playing to the gallery any time a tragic development arises.
