Niger State Begins Indefinite Strike by psalm121vs1: 8:52am On Dec 02, 2020
As Niger State sets out for it's indefinite strike today, we want the whole world to know the reason for this action and not count it as an insensitivity on the part of Organized Labour. While the state civil servants are still smarting from the slashed June salary and being the most underpaid workers in the country. The government went ahead to buy brand new SUVs worth about 36 million naira for it's commissioners. It should also be on record that the state has not employed anyone into its civil service for the past ten years and the new minimum wage approved by the Federal government is not fully implemented in Niger State and as it stands now, a director in Niger state civil service earns less than 80 thousand in a month. If this is not murder by starvation and suppression, we beg for a term to give to this treatment by the government.
Fellow Nigerians,we beg for your intervention both spiritual and physical in this deliberate holocaust being perpetrated by the government of Niger State to its citizens. Aluta Continua
