This piece of information may sound strange to many people that the famous American music couple JayZ and Beyonce has once visited our dear country.

The duo visited Ilorin the capital of Kwara state in 2006, they were there to see the efforts being made by the State government under the direction of the then governor Dr Bukola Saraki to provide clean potable water to the residents of the state.

During their stay they toured some locality where clean water were made available to the people and also the visited the Emir of the state Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari where JayZ was turbaned, he was mounted on the back of a decorated horse and he was given a title of "Turakin Waka" and lastly a street was also renamed In his honour.

From all evidence, JayZ and his wife look very well at home and even look no difference from the indigenes of the state, but one thing that caught my eyes was the choice of drink that was offered to the superstar duo.

With all due respect, Coca cola products was the most popular drinks then but due to their status nevertheless I expected something better than this.
One things that impressed me about this superstar couple is their level of humility to come to Nigeria and do things that even some of our local celebrities cannot even do.
