We have telcos that still provide analogue services but d minister doesn't seem to be bothered about that. He has become nigerias security minister

Forget There under alot of heat up North. Him and his Oga are receiving bashing nonstop. Think he's just trying to do his part and come up with some solution to problem.

What heat and problem is he trying to find solution to? D minister has lost focus. He has been obsessed with capturing data, sim registration & nimc since he was appointed minister. He even fought for nimc to be put under his ministry. He is more zealous about security than d service chiefs& d other security agencies while we keep receiving analogue type services from telcos.

Not true. If authorities really want, such can be traced even without the registration details.

Hmm meanwhile in my State you can buy an pre registered sim card for just 100 naira

Bro when I’m in Nigeria or when my family members come here we switch of our data roaming.

Your national security issues have nothing to do with what SIM card you use or not.

We have been registering for more things in Nigeria and the formalities around things like phones and SIM cards has been increasing but security is at its worst since I’ve been alive.

You need to have the technical knowledge of how roaming works and how important the current measure taken is. For the legal aspects of authentication, authorization and billing of the visiting subscriber, the roaming agreements typically can comprise minimal safety standards, as in the location update procedures or financial security or warranty procedures. In order that a subscriber is able to register on to a visited network, a roaming agreement needs to be in place between the visited network and the home network. Don't think u can use all these network without authorisations of NSP, NCC & govt.
