Much as I like Fashola, I feel he is taking the easy way out by just handing over all the construction projects in Lagos State to foreigners rather than trying to build a company/parastatal like this.

But I can understand his motivations. . . too much risk for failure trying to build such an organization in naija.

Nigeria is in Africa & Africa is a continent filled wit oppression & repression.
The carnage of that earthquake if it had happened in Nigeria will remain for 30yrs and roads will never get repaired as the Political Parties will hold them as tools of campaign, and the governors and their allies will have a constant channel they steal money from as they will keep voting monies to build the roads and clear the carnage and years will roll by.
May God help the Nigeria and Africa.
