Love should not only be said, it must be demonstrated. It is proactive, practical, and personal. It must be seen and heard.

A simple touch can convey an awesome sense of love, affirmation, and acceptance. To maintain physical and emotional health, according to a study, men and women need eight to ten meaningful touches each day. Meaningful touch like a gentle tap or stroke on a friend's shoulder, an husband planting a kiss on the wife's lips or a welcoming hug to a dear one after the day's work. These touches should be given by a significant other.

Caution, however must be exercised in touching anyone of the opposite sex in a professional and some personal relationships.

Dr. Dolores Kreiger, a professor of nursing at a New York University, has made numerous studies on the effect of human touch. Red blood cells carry a substance called hemoglobin, which carries oxygen to the body's tissues.

She found that both the toucher and the touched receive great physiological benefit. Hemoglobin levels in the blood streams of both people increase when one lays hand on the other. As hemoglobin levels rise, body tissues receive more oxygen. This oxygen increase invigorates both parties and can even aid in healing process.

An incredible true life story that illustrates the power of loving touch!

Leprosy patients feel no physical pain except at the early stages of the disease. But the lack of feeling is the problem, for after leprosy bacilli deaden nerve cells, patients lose pain as an all important danger signal. They may step on a sharp object without even knowing it. This can result to a loss of limb, but at no point does a leprosy patient actually hurt.

Although they do not feel physical pain, these group of people with this disease suffer incredibly from the rejection of the outside world.

A leprosy specialist, Dr. Paul Brand, tells of a very intelligent young man he treated in India. While examining his patient, the doctor laid his hand on his shoulder and informed him through an interpreter about the treatment he will receive. To the doctor's amazement, the young man began to tremble and sob uncontrollably. Paul immediately asked the interpreter what he had done wrong. After quizzing the patient she explained, " No, doctor. He says he is crying because you put your hand around his shoulder. No one had as much as touched him in many years.

Religion is deeply wicked and it's not just about the papas...

Dear Usher, prayer warrior, assistant pastor, Choir leader etc, Religion is the reason you got a woman you love pregnant and secretly aborted the baby (made baby disappear) in order to continue to appear HOLY and Righteous.

Everyone in religion is capable of making someone disappear if that person has evidence or is the evidence of their weakness or wickedness.

This is what God saved me from �... So when I celebrate my freedom from religion, I go to the extremes...

God delivered me from the bondage of trying to appear HOLIER than a human.... Back in those days, I would rather commit suicide than for anyone to see the weak side of me. But immediately I was SET FREE from my religiosity, my eyes opened and I discovered that what I was trying to hide is normal to all human beings.

Today, I understand myself better... I understand my sexuality better... I understand my emotions better... I no longer blame devils and demons for my own sexuality, sensuality and spirituality... Back in those days, if I get attracted to a girl, I will start praying and binding demons.... If I by any mistake dream of having sex, then I would think that demons were holding meetings against me in their covens... And if by any chance, I see myself in a sexual relationship with a girl, I would think that the girl was sent by a demonic kingdom to bring me down.... So I WAS LIVING IN DENIAL OF MY OWN SEXUALITY.

If you are still in religion, you won't understand why your papas make people disappear but I want you to forget about your papas and ask yourself "Have I ever made an unborn baby disappear because I didn't want to disappoint my religious circle? Have I ever covered up an event just to appear better than I am? ".. If the answer is YES, then calm down and heal from religion.

The wickedness of religiosity is deeper than what we can discuss on nairaland.

Many people aborted babies because of religion but today, they can't have another child. Religion ATE their generation. Beware of religion... Don't make people see you for who you are not.
