Isobug:after Hausa, Igbo is the second most populous tribe in Nigeria, and followed closely by Yoruba. Igbos are in the following states: Anambra Imo Abia Enugu Ebonyi Rivers Delta Benue Kogi Akwa Ibom (not too sure of this though) Cross River Bayelsa (very small population) It is only some Igbos in Niger Delta states that try to deny their Igbo root just because of crude oil that will soon lose its global market value, it's really pathetic 14 Likes 1 Share |

Igbos in deed. Nigerian government sliced us like potatoes chips but one thing is that if this people are in the Niger Delta, the narrative will that they come from Benin. Igbos i hail oo Unu kara ka. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Wow, Igbos are just everywhere. Indigenous to 12 states in Nigeria! 5 SE, 5 SS and 2 NC. However, I'm curious why they're not bearing be ubiquitous "ethnic nationality" tag, is it because they don't have crude oil All the same, Igbo Amaka!!! **Modified, it's actually 12 states 5 Likes |

This is the trick smaller tribes have been using for igbos, they know their population is not enough for political tussle, so they jump on I'm igbo ship. Just like their SS brother - they only igbos when they need help and not igbo when things backfire 1 Like 1 Share |

BastardWike:12 states not 10. Check my comment above. It was in Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba connived desperate efforts to reduce Igbo power and economic influence in Nigeria after the civil war that made them to create the 6 geopolitical zones and carved out SouthSouth also known as Niger Delta from old Eastern Nigeria. But in geographical coordinates, there is nothing like SouthSouth. They had to carve out some Igbo communities and wickedly placed them in SouthSouth and Northcentral states just to ensure Igbos are reduced. It is only Southeast geopolitical zone that have 5 states, do you think it was a mistake It was a well orchestrated plan 16 Likes 1 Share |

SuperBold: You didn't make one bit of sense. Didn't you see their names were all typical Igbo names, their HRH is an Igwe, and their tribe Ezza that is contigous with the Ezza of Ebonyi State? Or you think they will be like those that will stupidly claim Benin yet everything about them is Igbo? 20 Likes 6 Shares |
