Kano State Government has ordered all civil servants in state to work from home, till further notice in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus, Insidenaija reports.

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, spokesman Salihu Tanko-Yakasai who made the announcement on Twitter on Tuesday morning said, all event centres and viewing centres have been ordered to shutdown in the State.

" The Kano State Govt has directed all workers in the State to stay at home, with the exception of those on essential services, in order to prevent the spread of covid 19.

"Also, all event centres and viewing centres have been ordered to shutdown in the State, " he said.
