So sad, our leaders are not creating enabling environment for investors.
We need constant power (electricity) and security to achieve this things.... We need good leaders who can think out of the box

We were fed with these lies growing up.

Until we realized it was early form of Lie Mo 101. grin
Even Akinwunmi follow us Japa until juicy opportunities in 9ja came his way to return to.

It is the Chinese, Lebanese, fronts for govt officials or permanent friends of any party in power who cream off it. Any others succeed with chances similar to lottery win.

Dr Adesina is right, Africa is indeed the next frontier. However, countries such as Nigeria will be last in the pecking order.

There are other African countries who have laid out the foundation and who are best poised to take advantage of this opportunity. Rwanda and Botswana come to mind. Kenya and Ethiopia are making great strides. Countries that have a high literate population coupled with decent public infrastructure (road network, air and sea port, security, power, hospitals, high speed internet) are the ones that will benefit from such opportunity.

Nigeria has a long long long way to go before it can achieve any of these and compete for the chance to grab such opportunities.

Stop lying to yourself and stop staining others with your deviant mindset.

The comments here show that Nigerian Youths are finally waking up to lies and fake projections. Some are still stuck in the deceptive practices of token few to please their masters they look up to for salvation.

How can any country develop by looking and begging for foreign salvation?

Nigeria has resources, we got poorer. Nigeria has slave labor paying workers very little while importing less qualified labor as experts and partners to siphon off foreign reserve. Nigeria discovered oil in commercial quantities, we got deeper into abject poverty.

What do you expect when the only successful politicians that can get votes are thugs, militia, army and religious fanatics. Any activist trying to save his brothers and sisters, has failed just by being an activist.

Lok beyond your own personal limitations and negative outlook. Adeshina is right. Some of us are living prrof of what he is saying.

The best opportunities still exist in Africa if you have the mindset to tap into the vast potentials the African continent has.

Meanwhile Nigerian youths can click and subscribe to youthful Nigerian vloggers like this guy to support them. With a population of 200 million and reputedly 113 million active internet users in 2019, Nigerian vloggers shouldn’t be struggling this much.

Absolutely.

It's all about mindset.

If you have the mindset that Nigeria and Africa are going nowhere, you could never become the next INNOSON.

This was a guy who started from selling spare parts in the market, to become the biggest black-owned vehicle manufacturing company on Earth.

If he had the mindset of many of these Nigerian youths, he would be washing plates in Italy by now, or selling dope in South Africa.

He had a positive mindset and belief in the Nigerian and African future.

That is why he is where he is today.

Negativists and pessimists, learn from him.
