THE CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN HAS COME AND IN SWIFT SUCCESSION THE 4 YEARS HAVE DISAPPEARED INTO THE THIN AIR.
POLITICAL BIGWIGS WHO TEAMED UP WITH THE FIRST BLACK MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE ARE REARRANGING TO SQUARE UP WITH HIM IN HOT CONTEST.

TRUE, OBAMA HAS STARTED ON-LINE CAMPAIGNS.

BUT CAN HE WIN IT?
DOES HE STILL RETAIN THE GOODWILL TO WIN?

What is the State of our Secretary of State?

After one and a half years into the most incompetent and corrupt Presidency in modern history, it is time to ponder the plans of our current Secretary of State. Ms. Clinton’s desire to be President is well known, and her appetite for power has clearly exceeded all other priorities in her life– including her self-respect and marriage. She is probably pleased, knowing the press that demonized her finally realize “their” candidate is completely incapable of the job to which they propelled him. The oil spill in the Gulf is like Katrina and 9/11 happening in slow motion and Obama is still absolutely clueless of how to respond after 2 months. He sent lawyers because that is the only response that a community organizer understands, aside from a vocal protest. And since the protest would have to be on water, only “the one” could attend– being the only one who can walk on said protest area. But I digress. Ms. Clinton still wants and plans on being the President. Right now she and her advisers are weighing making a run in 2012 or waiting until 2016 and running against the incumbent Republican. I say incumbent because Obama has little chance for re-election in 2012. His popularity falls on a monthly basis and his ability to give speeches about real world events versus pie-in-the-sky virtues is very limited, as his recent speech from the Oval Office proved. Hillary knows if she runs against Obama she will alienate the Black vote but gain the Jewish vote back. The new Hispanic voters will help offset the loss of black votes. And lets be honest, the Black voters won’t go to the Republicans. So her math equation is fairly clear:

Does Democrat-Black vote+Jewish vote+Hispanic vote= Victory?

Before Obama’s election most people felt Ms. Clinton was more experienced and competent. Now there is no doubt. Unfortunately for her, to go against Obama is to be “racist”– at least where the Black community is concerned and the Democrats can’t win without the black vote. Whites and Asians tend to vote for the Republicans. Hispanics vote 2-1 for democrats but the policy of the Democrats to help Hispanics against the best interests of Americans will help their voter turn out in the Hispanic community.

So the question remains will Ms. Clinton run in 2012 or will she wait for 2016? When can she leave the position of Secretary of State and begin her campaign in earnest? Will the stench of the Obama administration leave any residue on her or will she have an open disagreement to create a clean break with the current administration in the eyes of the American public? Perhaps over Israel? The further she can distance herself from this administration and its myriad of offenses the better for her. But how can she leave the administration without losing widespread Democrat support?

And is America ready for the “novelty” of its first Woman President after seeing/feeling the effects of our first Black President?

2012 Candidate – Rick Santorum
by Election Supervisor on August 15, 2010 · 0 comments

in 2012 Candidates,Current Events

Richard “Rick” Santorum was born on May 10, 1958. He graduated from Penn State University in 1980 with a degree in political science before getting an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981. In 1986, Santorum received a law degree from Penn State Dickenson School of Law and settled in Pittsburgh to work for the firm of Kirkpatrick and Lockhart.

Santorum was elected to the U.S. House in 1990, at the age of only 32, after a tough race against a long term incumbent. He gained points by accusing his opponent of living outside the district most of the year, a charge that later came back to haunt him. While in Congress, he was part of the Gang of Seven that exposed the members of the House banking scandal and congressional corruption.

After 2 terms in Congress, Santorum ran for the Senate in 1994 and won. He was the author and key sponsor in 1996 of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, which implemented a welfare to work transition framework. He also actively supported key conservative stances on abortion, same-sex marriage, homosexuality, and privatization of government programs like Social Security. Santorum was very involved with the special legislation surrounding the Terry Schiavo case.

In 2000, Santorum ran for re-election and won, also capturing the position of Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference. In 2003, he generated a lot of publicity and controversy when he stated in an Associated Press interview that the Constitution does not grant the “right to privacy”, therefore the state has the right to legislate private behavior such as sexual acts, even between consenting adults. This was accompanied by anti-homosexual statements that garnered protest from the gay and lesbian community.

Santorum spoke out openly in favor of the War on Terror and against the spread of what he termed “Islamic fascism”, making it a key issue in his 2006 run for re-election. In June 2006, before the election, he stated that weapons of mass destruction had been found in Iraq, an assertion that the intelligence community and the White House quickly distanced themselves from by saying that the weapons were actually a 15 year old cache of buried and expired casings. Santorum lost his bid for a third term in the Senate by losing to Democrat Bob Casey Jr., who exploited Santorum’s living arrangements in the same way he exploited his opponent’s in 1990.

Santorum joined a law firm in March of 2007, focusing on client business and strategic counseling services. He is also a Senior Fellow with the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C. and contributes to Fox News Channel.

Santorum has been mentioned as a candidate for Governor of Pennsylvania in 2010 and has stated he is considering a run for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. To bolster his profile and candidacy, he has an early October 2009 visit scheduled in Iowa with several political organizations.

IF HILLARY DECIDES TO SQUARE UP WITH OBAMA, SHE WILL NOT HAVE THE MORAL STANDING TO QUESTION HIS ACTIONS AND INACTIONS SINCE SHE WAS PART OF THE GOVERNMENT

Cnn mobile/blogs>CNN Political Ticker« Back to Blog Main Clinton: I’m not running for president Posted: November 21, 2010, 10:11 am ET (CNN) — Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton is not running for president — just ask her. “I am not in any way interested in or pursuing anything in elected office,” Clinton said on “Fox News Sunday.”Clinton laughed off speculation that she might run for president in 2012. “I love what I’m doing,” Clinton said. “I can’t tell you what it’s like… to every day get to represent the United States.” She said she feels strongly about “every issue, from START to Afghanistan.” But her repeated claims that she won’t run for office again have done little to quell the talk that she might challenge President Barack Obama in the next election.
