2023: Let Igbos Go If You Can't Trust Them To Be President — Dele Momodu Thunders

In a short Trending video, sighted by IgbereTV, Dele Momodu said that he would never accept or be on the same page with anyone who says an Igbo man can never be President of Nigeria. He added that whoever said an Igbo man can’t be President and whoever accepted this, it showed that the person is brainless.

He revealed that if made the President of Nigeria today, he would turn the region into the country’s economic hub.

He praised Igbos’ brilliance and endowment, adding that Nigeria will be like China, Korea and India if Igbos are allowed to be President.

If ibos are allowed to be the president.surely , they would execute to achieve and promote ibo domination .in this way, they would also separate the easterners and south south ibos from the remainder of the officers of the armed forces.

Thereafter, filling their ammunition pouches to bring the North down.

Lol. Dele Momodu has always being a 'pleaser' who tries to be all things to all men. Like FFK, Melaye etal. What all these men have in common is lack of enduring principles.

They can say or do anything to achieve the agenda of the moment.

Those who institutionalized igbo marginalisation in Nigeria were the people who made the break up of Nigeria inevitable! If anybody anywhere is living with the impression that the igboman will accept subjugation for eternity out of fear of violence or ethnic gang up , such a person is living in a fools paradise..

I used to have a friend and neighbor who arrogantly ranted that igbos will never be president of Nigeria.

He died last year.

Whether or whethern't igbo is president is inconsequential to the life of the average unconnected igbo man same way the average daura man is still not better off because buhari is president.

But truth remains that no situation lasts forever. If Nigeria lasts long enough an igbo man will eventually be president.

For all those who keep saying that igbos cant be president, no go carry matter wey no dey under your control or wey no go add or remove value from your life for head.

Dele Momodu is not an Igbo man but he is an intellectual who is educated and objective. Now campare what he said to this incoherent rubbish you wrote here. Your type (and unfortunately they are many) are the reason Nigeria became a global disgrace.

Shame on you and your likes!!

Daurra man's life is better because of buharis presidency. Better roads, Katsina airport to help him get his stuff done quicker, library's built by Emeka Offor to curry favour from Buhari, new transport university being built by Amaechi, rail network going to Niger through Daurra, billions of financial helps through the disaster management agency, easy recruitment into the army, navy, airforce and ofcourse the general civil service! Daurra man's life is better, bro... We need to get a hold on that presidency to make our lives in the east better too or we scatter everything... That should be the mentality not believing the lie that power provides nothing to the North... They're ripping us all off with power...

They were in Government in 1960-1966, Aguiyi Ironsi regime of 1966. They were also in Government in 1977-1983. 6 years ago, they dominated GEJ Administration to the extent that Peter Obi confessed that Gej gave them(Igbo) an identity. In all of these, Nigeria is still as corrupt and backward as ever. Until Nigeria is restructured everything remains the same.

Rugaria:

Yes they do even if the fact they play politics, like everyone else, makes that reality not obvious to you.

I think I don't need to spell out what Tinubu has built and achieved in his exemplary life. Buhari in seeking the Presidency many times never sold out.

Oshiomhole was a dogged union leader. Perhaps the most fearless even in the history of Nigeria. Oshiomhole knew he may go down over the Obaseki saga but he fought valiantly to the end nonetheless. Can any Nigerian imagine FFK or Momodu doing that or the tree-dweller and coma-faking Melaye? Get real.

The mistakes they have made , perhaps playing politics, does not detract from who they are.

Different to privileged 'omo baba olowo' FFK who failed at everything despite being given opportunities he never deserved.

Melaye will only be remembered for garish materialism and childish behaviour . Many, including his former constituents, have forgotten he was ever a Senator.

Momomu is the most sycophantic Nigerian to live. He has always been for sale to the highest bidder and has never really stuck out a neck unless safe to do so.

Stop being emotional. You are being typically Igbo. Not liking someone politically does not mean you deny qualities honest people can verify they show.

Conversely, supporting someone should not mean you become blind to their unsavoury ways and attributes.

But igbos are not banned from contesting na. If they are waiting for us to tell other regions to hold on for igbos, then they shd keep on waiting
By the way, didnt Abiola contested frontally and won primaries against strong northern candidates before finally crushing another northerner in d main elections? As a result of that OBJ and Falae were chosen to contest the 1999 elections to compensate the injustice done to Abiola and south west

Based on how those you will present have put the economy of their SE States on "another level" ba?

Kalu really turned Abia into Dubai not so? Obi the fraudster too made Anambra the 2nd biggest economy in Africa in 4 years abi?

Ekweremadu's 30 years in the Senate has really been glorious for his constituency, State and region not so?

Today Igbo Governors are the worst in Nigeria by far yet you guys can still make the pathetic argument you do. Laughable.

You Igbo are no different to your grandfathers like Azikiwe, Ojukwu etal who proposed that Igbos, based on nothing anyone can see, have a messianic right to always lead others. You guys are deluded and don't live in the real world as others do.

I do not think anybody is saying Igbos cannot be Nigeria president just like any other ethnic group in Nigeria.
But they can not get it on the platter of gold. They have to work for it like other tribes and ethnic groups. They cannot get it by blackmailing other ethnic groups.
They have to realign with other groups. They have to lobby other ethnic groups. They have to play national politics. No ethnic group that will play itself into opposition to all other ethnic groups can ever become Nigeria president. You can't be Nigerian president by cursing, abusing and working against the interest of Nigeria. You can't be Nigerian president by calling Nigeria a zoo.
