Recently, it has become more glaring and copious that the self-acclaimed Mr Integrity and revered corruption fighter can no longer pride himself with any of the glorious titles as the recent ranking of Nigeria as the headquarters of corruption by Transparency International (TI) have said it all, the ranking have also gone a revealing way to expose that the President cannot be said to have no stains in his babaringa.

Under the Apc led administration “harvest of corruption scandals’’ under the Buhari government is unprecedented in Nigeria’s history, and has been attested to by TI in her most recent ranking of Nigeria being the headquarters of corruption I'm the world.

The Buharist says the Gen is not corrupt, blah blah blah, there are only living in fool's paradise as they're extremely gullible and sycophantic people.

It is even more worrisome and disturbing that the Apc and Buhari who rode on the reports of TI then to label and taint the judicious administration of His Excellency, President Dr Goodluck Jonathan GCFR as corrupt and held the Transparency International ranking as credible now dismisses the recent report of TI as "Not Credible", this is a government full of biases with questionable characters.

According to the latest CPI, Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation and one of the continent’s biggest economies was not listed among the top 35 least corrupt country in the world.

It is also instructive that Liberia and Sierra Leone, which Nigeria helped to liberate from the throes of war are now doing much better in fighting corruption than the country (Nigeria), just like much smaller and less-endowed nations like Niger, Gambia, Burkina Faso and Mali are better rated.

In all of these and more, the administration has shown an amazing lack of political will in investigating the scams and prosecuting perpetrators. “Worst still, key administrative officials have shown from their careless comments that they either do not understand what it means to fight corruption or they are just trivialising it.

Rtd Major Gen Buhari must wake from his slumber and face the reality that corruption is fast eating deep into the soul of Nigeria, having already decimated the body. He must stop playing the ostrich and lead the way in the fight against corruption before it consumes the country.”

So it is impossible to deploy the resources of logic to argue that Buhari has integrity.He doesn’t. Well, unless integrity means something to Buhari supporters other than what it actually means in the English language."
