I've always thought that Biafra would simply be a smaller 'Nigeria', with Igbos forming the dominant ''born to rule'' elite, milking the SOUTH's resources to develop the NORTH, ie Igboland.

Igbos would be the NORTHERNERS of Biafra.

South-South politicians would be scrambling to don an Ishiagu and red cap, the way many southern politicians today don the Babariga, to curry favour from the northern power elite.

Biafra would simply be Nigeria 2.0 in my view.

No wonder the other minority groups in the hypothetical republic are so damn reticent.

Yeah but, as is the case with Nigeria, the problem is who your ''OUR'' is referring to, and to what degree everyone see himself as part of the ''OUR''.

Biafrans.

Unity is not by mouth or by shouting ''Biafra'', anymore than shouting ''NIGERIA'' guarantees you peace, prosperity, justice, equity, equality, and equanimity.

What is the ideology behind Biafra? This is something we rarely, if ever, hear from IPOB elements, including their leader.

You are still mouthing meaningless slogans and rhetoric.

Why can't you address the issue raised directly?

What are you scared of?

Biafra will be full of intimidation since they are already calling Ebonyi the weak link in Igbo land.

Igbos belittling fellow igbos especially Anambrarians.

Seeing how it is now, I wonder how it is going to be when Biafra comes to be.

They will forget the sacrifices and sweat of those ones they call weak and give them crumbs.

There won't be equity in Biafra.

Same thing happening in Nigeria.

Well, one thing you have to remember about the Biafran agitation is that all the Biafran agitators agree on one thing, that Biafra must be created by referendum.

If any ethnic group feels, or fears, that Igbos will dominate them in Biafra, they can choose to continue with Nigeria.

This is not a "by force thing". Everybody should have known who they comfortable with, and who they are not.

Who is ''we''?

Dude, speak for yourself.

You're an embarrassment as a spokesperson for your kitchen, never mind an ethnic group numbering 50 million plus.

That is no Ideology. That is mere sloganeering, rhetoric, propaganda, and bombastic posturing.

Go and study the meaning of ideology.

Right now, Biafra is just a baseless claim for power simply for the sake of power.

Power for its own sake rather than in pursuit of a specifically defined ideological objective or socio-political transformation, is a recipe for disaster and failure in any intending republic.

There is no Biafra agitation going on in Igboland, what we have is some group of unemployed youths scamming each other in the name of Biafra.

That is very obvious, but I can only speak for my side, I won't go about telling SS not to be a part of Biafra, it's their choice but as for Edo we are joining no one not even Niger Delta republic nor oduduwa.

The right of self determination is recognised in international laws that Nigeria is a signatory to. The right of self determination simply means that any group of people, are allowed to agitate for a seperate state from the one they belong to. Only a fool will be asking which ideology supports something that is already law.

Biafra is an igbo Nation south south can from their own nation

Any south south group that wants to join biafra should be given semi autonomy like dubai under uae

Even in the Biafra all Provence would be semi autonomous .... central government should not get more than 20% of Provence income

It's just economic policy , military and foreign affairs they should handle
