The Youth Wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Ebonyi has urged youths across the country to desist from violence and hate speech.

Mr Obiya Sabastine, the State Chairman of the group, gave the advice in Abakaliki on Wednesday.

Sabastine decried the rising political hate speech and crisis in Ebonyi and noted that no meaningful development could be achieved in the atmosphere of the crisis.

NAN recalls that the defection of some members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to APC in Ebonyi including Gov. David Umahi had generated several likes and dislikes among peoples in the state.
