The new leadership of NAF did well by coming clear with the news of this unfortunate incident, because the past NAF leadership lie through their teeth on things like this. This seems like a new order. We need to appreciate this positive step of being honest and transparent to the Nigerian people on events happening in the war with the terrorists. They need to re-strategize their approach to this war to reduce casualties.

You will expect that the army, airforce and navy will descend heavily on the bandits but we all know this is the end of the story. Imagine if it was just one soldier killed in the south, they will burn an entire community down while some southerners from bastard parents will sing their praises

Do you know how much it costs to train a doctor or an engineer? Do you know how much a lecturer that did a Masters or PhD under TETFUND? Do you know what it costs NDDC to train one of their scholarship awardees? Do you know how much it costs the FG on pilgrim sponsorship? Do you know how much it costs states in the North to pay WAEC fees?

Everybody has their roles in society. Nobody is more important than the other.

The fun part of this thread is that the PDP supporters are all over the thread gloating about this attack on the airforce personell...not because they support the bandits, or because they are interested in Nigeria's security...but because they are happy that increased insecurity means that APC gets voted out in 2023 and their party gets into power.

Meanwhile the APC supporters will come and focus on the bit where the Airforce beat back the bandits...forgetting that their party has done nothing about the conditions leading up to there being bandits in every forest of this country. (And they still cover up the ENDSARS issues...yes nobody died, but was it right for the army to fire on peaceful protesters, plus why was nothing done about SARS for over five years?)

And people ask me why I cannot vote for APC OR PDP? When both of them are ready to manipulate the bad situation to get into power?

Good job to our airforce...but the sad thing is that neither APC nor PDP is interested in solving the real issue...security in Nigeria.

I still don't get how the main victims in the North are not protesting and actually raising their voices against these inept leaders! Is it because it's their own that's in charge?!! Were these not the same people who raised hell when Jonathan was in office?!!... What hushed their voices?!!
