Olusegun Bamgbose, a chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, has said that former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Uche Secondus have no choice at the moment but to defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC. Bamgbose claimed that Abubakar and Secondus have become helpless with the current exodus from the PDP and may have no choice but join the bandwagon soon. He noted that this was an era of defections, of which the APC has been the greatest beneficiary with the big wigs from PDP and other parties joining the ruling party. Recall that a former governorship aspirant in Abia State, Alex Oti recently moved from the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA to APC.
