24-year-old Kaosarah Adeyi appointed

Kaosarah Adeyi has been appointed as the senior special assistant (SSA) on youth engagement to Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, governor of Kwara state.

In a statement, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor’s chief press secretary, said Abdulrazaq announced the appointment on Tuesday.

According to Ajakaye, the 24-year-old graduate of the University of Ilorin is also an entrepreneur and an author.

“Kaosarah, an author who is renowned for her extensive reach within the youth constituency, is a graduate of the University of Ilorin where she is mentor for the varsity’s empowerment beneficiaries. A youth entrepreneur, her roles entail sharing practical examples with mentees, giving mentorship on entrepreneurship, and advising on how to manage school activities with their business goal-setting, planning and implementation,” the statement reads.

“The millennial is from Ojuekun Sarumi Ward of Ilorin West local government. Kaosarah is the member representing Kwara State on Northern States Governors’ Forum Committee on Youth Engagements, Priorities and Inclusion in Governance. She was also a member of the Kwara State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on EndSARS Protest (2020).

“She was Vice President of the Faculty of Agriculture Students (UNILORIN, 2018) and Vice President of Nigerian Society for Environmental Conservation.

“Kaosarah comes to the job with several certifications on youth affairs, including at continental level.”

Finally a real YOUTH.
Anyway, she’ll achieve nothing because the system is designed that way. On a daily, they’ll give her templates of what to do and what to say, she wouldn’t be allowed to think outside the box.
Politics and Politicians in Nigeria isn’t for making good people oriented policies, they are just there to accumulate the masses commonwealth.

That lady is certainly going places.

I attended her book launch where the governor came in unexpectedly, even the governor was amazed by her records.

He initially sent her name to the house of assembly for nomination as a commissioner but the house rejected her on the premise of her age.

However, this is also a good way to start.

Nice....but I'm worried it's been seen as something special instead of it been seen as normal.
We have to push for more young youths(30yrs below) with credibility to occupy higher political posts in all strata of Governance.
That way they'll gather experience over the years on duty to lead at the apex before they attain 40yrs...it should be the NORM!!!
This is why ill keep advocating to young minds to build themselves proactively.
If she was docile I'm not sure she'll be noticed.
If you are young or a youth and yet to earn online then ill suggest you get an online skill set that will make you earn residual income.

While I congratulate her on this, I would really love to know her role on the #EndSars panel.

If she is/was one of the youth representatives, then it would have been more appropriate if she rejected this appointment.
