President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Wale Oke, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to speak up on the worsening insecurity in the country. He described Buhari’s silence over Nigeria’s security challenge as disturbing, saying this was giving Nigerians the impression that he was in support of criminal herdsmen and bandits terrorising the people. The bishop, who is the founder of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, said this on Wednesday in Ibadan while receiving the Lagos, Ogun and Osun states chapters of the PFN led by Apostle Enjimaya Okwuonu, Apostle David Otaru and Prophet Isaiah Adelowokan, respectively. The state chairmen of PFN had visited Oke, who recently emerged president of the association, to congratulate him. Oke said, “The silence of President Muhammadu Buhari over the degenerating security situation in Nigeria is too loud and is very disturbing. Seriously, President Buhari’s silence is deafening and it’s giving room for speculation and gossip that suggest government has a hand in the sickening situation by indulging and pampering bandits and killer Fulani herdsmen, among others. He (Buhari) should rise above primordial sentiments and sectional attachment by doing the needful to make the nation safe for every Nigerian.” He reminded the President that he was voted into power in 2015 because of his military background and the belief that he would use that to stem insecurity in the country. The most difficult crime to solve as a leader are those perpetuated by family members, friends, people from the same ethnic group or religion. When your own blood commits crime just like the Fulanis are doing with disregard, it puts the president in a dilemma, whether to be loyal to his oath or to his relatives with whom his life will continue after leaving office . But the president being the kind of person he is, will always choose the second option which involves being loyal to the terrorists . |

Tell the Yorubas to apologize for voting Buhari into power. If he wasn't voted for, he wouldn't be in power to engender this Fulani expansionist mission. 1 Like |

PFN is talking rubbish. Maybe it's Buharis kinsmen that are killing police in their checkpoints in the East. What has PFN said about it? Anyway MURIC will have to reply them soon |
