Maybe the lion died of hunger grin

Am sure the zoo officials were busy diverting the goats and sheeps that were budgeted for feeding the lion undecided and they replaced it with tuwo shinkanfa

Actually most Northerner are bad at management. They don't care about important things. Give them industry, they will kill it, after that, and say Allah ne ya Kawo. No wonder Dangote move his business HQ out of his home country

PHijo:
Animals in Nigerian zoos seem to be different!
Some years ago a documentary on a malnourished lion in Enugu zoo was done.

It is wrong to call Nigeria a zoo, only zoos in dysfunctional societies like Nigeria are like this.

It is a disservice to the hardworking and honest men and women who work in zoos across the world. Most zoo in this world have 24/7 power supply. The climatic conditions are adjusted to suit the animal's natural habitat.

Nigeria's government should release the animals to their natural habitat. It is a shame they are being caged to suffer unnecessary hardship.

This is how so many ethnic nations feel under the burden of Nigeria, they feel like an animal caged in a Nigerian zoo!

Nigeria is like that lion, hungry, angry and disappointed. Who knows if the provisions to feed the lion was hijacked or there was nothing provided at all. Rip Lion.

We clearly have no culture of appreciation for nature in Nigeria. Other countries in Africa like Kenya and SA have open national parks that tourists flock to visit and provide tourist earnings for the countries. In Nigeria, we have lousy zoos with one starving lion. The zoo in Ibadan is also in bad stage and the lion in their enclosure looks to be in very bad condition. Most of our big games in Nigeria are either extinct or endangered! Most of our rainforests gone, our national parks in shambles. Where in Nigeria can you see zebras? Where are the cheetahs? All hunted and driven into extinction. We used to sing songs about these animals when we were young, but that's all a thing of the past.

Nigerians are the most wicked people on the planet earth. How could anyone do such a thing to any creature, instead allow it to go back to the jungle where it belongs.

iLegendd:
Wait a minute! How many goats does this lion eat per year?

Why do people value dangerous animals more than humans and gentle animals?

I see people protecting sharks, snakes, lions, etc, but they easily kill goats to feed a lions. If you asked them, they'll say they are protecting the ecosystem.

All dangerous animals should die by starvation. Only dogs should be allowed to live.
