Here in Ekiti, we have just witnessed a certain Bamidele Faparuti, candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria for Ekiti South Federal Constituency II being arrested and carted away by the state security police to the capital (Ado-Ekiti).

He was apprehended in the company of four (4) hoodlums disguised as SSS officials. When the gang failed to supply proper identification, they were quickly read their rights and put in the police vehicles.

This is a continuation of a series of disturbances by the party in the state, only a few weeks back, April 2, a honorable member of the state house of assembly, Hon. Samuel Ajidara was accosted by State security outfit with gun wielding thugs.

We will endeavour to supply more information as we witness it.
