There are strong indications that President Goodluck Jonathan may dissolve his cabinet next week.

Pointblanknews.com has learned that the dissolution which had been on cards for sometime would have taken effect three weeks ago but was suspended owing to impending elections.

Already, the President has ordered the freezing of the accounts of all ministries till new ministers are picked. Most of the last contracts awarded in the last financial year, are still at due process level.

Permanent secretaries are expected to hold sway and limit themselves to expense below N5 Million.

President Jonathan is expected to announce the dissolution of the federal cabinet at the next Federal Executive Council meeting to hold immediately after the general elections.
