I want to Know why Naira is not mention in plural like let's say dollar.You often hear 1000 dollars but even if Naira is mentioned in million it still remain naira e.g 2million Naira.why not Two million Nairas?

That is because the currency is very useless. No matter the value you amass, the exchange rate makes it more useless

plural form is only given to better currencies.

Lol....

Is naira even an English word? It sounds more like a Hausa word and from my observation words pronounced in our local language do not usually have plural forms.

Most currencies are like that, the Japanese Yen, the Chinse Yuan, etc.

Must you put "s" in a word or make visible alteration before it could be plural? Don't you know there are words that remain unchanged in singular and plural forms?

It could be argued thst Naira belong to that class.
