When Is An Election Free And Fair by Afam4eva(m): 12:56pm On Apr 19, 2011 |
There's no election that will be described as free and fair in Nigeria. Is it unless the opposition wins that it will be adjudged free and fair? |

Note that no one is contesting the votes in the southwest? Those people are leaving nigeria behind oo. Just saying. . . |

When unborn and underaged kids are allowed to vote for the opposition, when the cows and sheep are allowed to vote for the opposition, when a man who wouldnt due to tribalistic tendencies campaign in a region expects and gets a 25% vote. Then the election is devoid of fraud and considered 'free and fair' |

It is free and fair when the vote of the people counts |
Re: When Is An Election Free And Fair by lyfe(m): 8:12pm On Apr 19, 2011 |
Odunnu: No Evidence for this, you are not even being fair yourself why would cow and sheep vote, even the underage kid is just total make-up. afam4eva: The election is free and fair only if PDP does not engage the massive midnight thumb-printing as show in this video. An election is free and fair when every legible one is allowed to vote and the true outcome revealed without manipulation. The last two Jega elections were free to some extent at the polling units. It is easy for the opposition to calculate the results by adding up the total from each polling boot. The problem lies in collation of the results. The results are tampered with at the collation centres and opposition agents intimidated with soldiers and police to sign a false result. My friend was nearly killed in Abia for refusing to sign a manipulated result. The average voter turn out from the real polling centers is 35%.Anyone who voted can affirm this. The manipulated results inflated turnout to roughly 80% with the extra 50% going in its entirety to PDP. |

@ Abagworo exactly. This is more than Buhari v GEJ. or North v South or Muslim v Christian. This is unbelivable 419 by the PDP rigging machine. Nobody is saying Buhari would have won the election but 10 million gap is laughable, this was a run off at least. Can you imagine GEJ taking 45%+ of vote in Jigawa and reporting 75%+ turnouts. One Postive though, It is clear that PDP can be broken after this, there is hope for Nigeria yet! |

Wait a second . . . . many of those who pretend that this election was infact free and fair are many of the same who insulted and claimed I was clueless when I stated some years ago that free and fair elections were possible in Nigeria. See why I don't take what a lot of these elements have to say for much? lol |
Re: When Is An Election Free And Fair by ektbear: 9:42pm On Apr 19, 2011 |
Muk-Ldn: How is this possible? You can never beat a party that can mysteriously obtain 80%+ turnout in multiple states when the actual turnout was half of that. This should be a very sobering moment for the opposition. |
Re: When Is An Election Free And Fair by MukLdn(m): 9:47pm On Apr 19, 2011 |
@ ekt_bear NE + NW + SW = President CPC/ACN alliance The people up North are tired of PDP, even if they put a Northener as candidate. CPC needs to continue as a party and lay the foundations. ACN is in the SW. People need to just put the egos to the side and make deals/compromise. |

^^^ Yep, I predict the North will loose the PDP monster sooner than the SE |

The Western fools who feel it wasn't fair should answer me, when OBJ won in 2003, how many votes did he get fro the west? The Northern fools who also feel it was rigged should pls remind me how many votes Yar'Adua got in most part of the north 2007. As for me, some westerners feel it is a game of North and West always but OBJ has disappointed them. OBJ is a true elder states man. So The Western Haters should cry river while the northern haters should jump into the river. @ Agbaworo, I dey laugh. You can make your claim better. Send your brother to CPC to provide evidence of rigging. CPC is offering N1,000,000.00 cash to anyone who provides useful info on the rigging because they don't even have info but are speculating. You can be rich you fool. Alternatively, let your brother go to Channels TV and expose PDP and stop crying like a fool |

The elections so far are free and fair enough. Hope the next election would be better and INEC will perform wonderfully. Our votes are needed in the next election. The turn out of electorate was not impressive in some areas during presidential election. Voting right governor and house members is really important. ACN is the answer, development and progress. |

It seems Nigerians will never be satisfied with any election as long as their candidate loses. |
