Federal Government Ends Ban On Registration Of New SIM Card by sleeksavbvy: 9:50pm On Apr 15, 2021


The Federal Government has lifted the ban on new Subscribers Identification Module (SIM) card registration. The ban is expected to be government said, is Monday, April 19, 2021. It however placed NIN registration as mandatory for registering new SIM cards.

The latest development was contained in the revised National Digital Identity Policy for SIM Card Registration approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.

A statement by Technical Assistant (Information Technology) to Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Femi Adeluyi, reads in part: “The implementation of the Policy will commence on Monday, 19th of April 2021.

dem fr block tire.. mumu government.. prioritising zeal on trivial issues.. they have made sim card that was sold at 250 to now 5000 naira.. clueless govent always looking for ways to hard the common man..
