Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has reacted to a claim by Edo Governor, Godwin Obaseki, who said the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) printed N60 billion as part of federal allocations to states last month (March 2021). Newsrand reported that the Edo governor made this known at the Edo state transition committee stakeholders engagement, which held on Thursday, April 8, 2021. https://newsrand.com/2021/04/23/osinbajo-obaseki-lied-cbn-didnt-print-n60bn/ |

Come and see a miracle in our times, the deaf and dumb VP has suddenly regained his voice. When it comes to attacking a performing governor he will find his voice, but when it comes to savage Fulani killers who are bent on destroying his fellow christians, the midget will suddenly become dumb. Osinbajo please do the needful and go and lick your Fulani masters backsides and leave Obaseki alone. Obaseki is a REAL man and you are not on his level in any way. |

Op. Stop twisting your headline because of traction. it is misleading “On the alleged printing of N60 billion, the National Economic Council (NEC) stated that the claim as reported in the press is outrightly false, affirming that no money was printed to shore up allocation for the month of March.” — NEC STATEMENT, April 22, 2021 https://twitter.com/NGRPresident/status/1385544306849730560?s=20 |

bjdon: The same Obaseki that was begging the VP to come to his state as he does to other states? What is this one saying. Or Is it not Osinbajo that just directed Obaseki and others to go and set up consultation meeting and dialogue in his and their states and report back to him next month? This bruh is just exposing his ignorance here. |

All these falsehoods making rounds in the media will not get us anywhere. The N60 billion printing rumor has been debunked but certain individuals will still go on wallowing in ignorance. |

CBN Admits Printing Money to Boost Allocations to States. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has disclosed that one of its key mandates under the law is to print money to support the government whenever there is a crisis. To douse the controversy, The apex bank Governor further explained that, the concept of printing of money is about lending money and that is our job...It will be irresponsible for the CBN or any Central Bank or Fed to stand idle and refuse to support its government at a time like this. https://newsrand.com/2021/04/23/osinbajo-obaseki-lied-cbn-didnt-print-n60bn/[/quote] |

Obaseki have reminded CBN to remember the loans taking by the governors... He should be expecting more scrutinizing from other state governors |
