*DAY 5: AWKA SOUTH, IDEMMILI NORTH AND SOUTH DISPLAY SHOW OF STRENGTH*

*~ As They Endorse Senator Ubah's Gubernatorial Ambition*

The fifth day of the local governments declaration tour by the Distinguished Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, took place yesterday with visits to the party members in Awka South, Idemmili South and Idemmili North Local Government Areas of Anambra state

Day 5 marked the beginning of the visits to local governments in Anambra Central District.

These three local government areas visited yesterday opened the eyes of political watchers to the current realities in the state as it exposed the fact that the YPP had been underestimated all these while, especially by the so called big parties that see it as an underdog.

Particularly worthy of mention is the turn out of party faithfuls in obosi township stadium where they deliberately insisted that only registered members of the various structures promoting the Senator's Guber bid are allowed in the marked canopies. The township stadium was filled to the brim with party faithfuls in the various structures drawn from virtually all the wards in the entire local government.

Yesterday's event sent shock waves to the camp of the opposition who never knew that while they were under the erroneous impression that the YPP had no structures, it actually had four affiliated structures in every ward , in all the local governments and still counting.

It became clear yesterday, that the idea bearer and capacity laden Senator had since been engaging the grass roots and every ward in Anambra with different active structures all promoting the open door revolutionary message of a status quo change in the socio political and economic fortunes of the state.

The activites of these main structures, namely , Afa Igbo Efuna Movement, Active Voters Solidarity, Ifeanyi Ubah Solidarity Movement (IUSM), etc in the local governments areas so far visited shows that indeed Ndi Anambra are ready and willing to take their destinies in their hands and change the present narrative

It is worthy to note at this juncture that some of the above mentioned structures has already given birth to very active and vibrant sub structures like The Caring Minds, The Classic Ladies For Ubah, Afa Igbo Efuna Market wing , Active Voters Civil Service Wing, Active Voters Farmers Wing etc.

It is also worthy of note that no one is allowed to belong to more than one structure promoting the Ubah brand at the same time while this political fencing rages .

The students are not left out as they also have in place Ifeanyi Ubah Student Support Group alive and active in virtually all the institutions of higher learning in Anambra State.

These student movements in the various chapters came alive immediately after the covid 19 lockdown last year having watched the Distinguished Senator in show of leadership and care embark on various interventions that ranged from organising his friends to build hospitals, to giving out palliatives all over the state and even to Ndi igbo in Lagos state as well as consistently giving out recharge cards for data recharge to ensure that the students who were mostly studying online then were kept busy with their online classes .

One recalls with nostalgia that while the Senator was consistently giving out these recharge cards for data, the opposition were busy mocking him but he ignored them and kept ensuring that these students attend their online classes by recharging their data subscriptions.

Because those critics were not in tune with the grassroots, they never realised how much that gesture from the Senator meant to the young recipients.

The display of love and loud statements of endorsements shows that Ndi Anambra are highly discerning and politically aware and are not ready to mortgage the fortunes of the state any longer.

Various speakers at the events in the three local government areas were all consistent in their demands for a caring and capable grassroot person who knows his way about in the state and understands the needs of the various localities. They were all consistent in saying that the man who perfectly fits the above description is Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyichukwu Nwa Ubah.

It Is obvious from what transpired in the three local government areas in Anambra Central yesterday that Senator Ubah is indeed very much loved and popular in the entire state as opposed to the belief in some quarters that he only commands huge followership in the South Senatorial District alone.

Indeed a new Anambra is possible with Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.

The tours continue on Monday with visits to Anaocha, Njikoka and Dunukofia Local Government Areas.

Ifeanyi Uba should stop polluting the Anambra political environment with his patently uncouth brand of nauseating politics..
Go and face your oil business or open factories for jobless youths to get employed..
Every billionaire can't be a governor..
