AWKA NORTH, OYI AND ANYAMELUM WELCOME SENATOR UBAH'S GUBER BID IN A GRAND RECEPTION

~ Promise To Deliver Him At The Polls

The entourage of the Distinguished Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, on Tuesday took his 'Message Of Hope For A New Anambra' to the three local government areas of Awka North, Anyamelum and Oyi.

The Senator, who was received in all the local government areas by members of his various structures as well as party officials and lovers of the Ubah brand, used the opportunity to reiterate his promise to them that indeed he has the answer to the myriad of problems presently bedevilling the state.

The Senator while in Mgbakwu, Awka North, told the party faithfuls that the state and indeed the South East region is in dire need of a leader that will take the bull by the horn and engage all relevant stakeholders towards finding a lasting solution to the emerging security problems in the region.

"Imagine an Ifeanyi Ubah as the Governor of Anambra State, and these killings going on freely with the government looking on with arms akimbo, is that possible? " The Senator asked to a thunderous response in the negative.

"We are talking about capacity, we are talking about hands-on experience. We are talking about a man that knows all the nooks and crannies of the state as well as the peculiar challenges that each locality faces. I believe that I have the requisite track record that shows that I am the right person for this job come November 6 this year"; the Senator assured.

"Awka North, being one of the most neglected Local Government Areas in the State by successive administrations, were resounding in their support for the Senator's ambition"

In Anaku, Anyamelum Local Government Area, the people complained that despite the fact that Anambra North has held power in the last seven years, the entire local government is in a total state of neglect.

The Senator thanked them profusely for leaving their farms to receive him and assured them that farm equipments like tractors as well as water irrigation are some of the interventions that will be made to assist them towards ensuring that they remain a veritable food bank for the state and beyond.

In Nteje, the venue of the declaration for Oyi Local Government Area, the Senator assured them that, just as he was able to deploy his capacity and extensive contacts to deliver world-class hospitals in five months in two Senatorial Districts during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, he is going to turn around the fortunes of Anambra and deliver an industrialised state that our people will all be proud of.

Today marks the eighth day of the local government tours as the Senator is poised to visit Ogbaru, Onitsha North and South Local Government Areas.

Indeed, a new Anambra is coming with Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah.
