These days you could almost accurately predict the kind of news that would greet you the moment you decide to surf through web pages of any news agency in Nigeria, blogs and forums are not left out in this, as almost every state in the country has experienced it fair share of neglect by the central government whose primary responsibility is to secure lives and property of it citizens.

Chief amongst the marauders are the Fulani herdsmen and BokoHaram who has little or no fight/resistance from the government over the years.

The recent spat between governor Ortom of Benue State and the Presidency alongside the handling of the Patanmi saga has clearly showed why there has been no fight worthy of success in this regard.

Obviously the loyalty of the commander in chief lies with his kinsmen and not with the Constitution that he swore to abide with, and glaring is this fact to all and sundry that village heads and traditional leaders are paying these terrorists in millions in order to LIVE. How much worse could things get

I keep pondering over these questions.

✓ Why has Pantami not resigned, sacked or suspended. With numerous complaint of sabotage and misinformation over the years, I wonder why he still holds office
✓ Presidency's response to governor Ortom's remark reeks of guilt and nonchalance. How come Garba Shehu's reply reeks of tacit support for the Herdsmen?
✓ Despite the military shakeup after been long overdue, rate of insurgency is still on the rise
✓ Sheikh Gumi's rise to fame and popularity negotiating for Herdsmen is worrisome. All over the world
✓ Recent claim of public recruitment by BokoHaram with take home pay as high as the minimum wage is worrisome.

Ask residents of Baga, Damasak, Chibok, Secondary school students in Kaduna, farmers in Niger and Benue you'll realize the kind of terror they live through. Humanitarian workers trying to provide relief for these people are not left out also.
Alas, it's a shame we have a commander whose alliance is with the enemy no wonder it has only been a one sided massacre in favor of the terrorists over the years.
