Although I had been hearing stories about increase in Engine Oil but never knew it was this bad the oil I bought for #4000 some months back is now #7600 while the one called ABURO inside Pepsi bottle that I usually buy for #250 is now #600 or #650 wetin dey happen for Nigeria someone shud wake up the president

I was buying fuel at one PM petrol station here in lagos when one guy walked in to buy 1litre engine oil. Next thing I heard was #1,900. Omo I was shocked!!!

Something i bought last at #1,200 and all of a sudden it's now #1,900.

The Heavy duty one we use to service generators used to cost 800 November last year

It’s now 1800 naira ( some petrol stations sell the same for 1650 tho )

Funny thing too is cos there is barely any nepa, the generators now drink oil like fuel cos they are always on for too long

Meaning sometimes every 3 days ooo must be bought for the generator

The high rise of engine oil price has led to so many fake in the market, some use diesel to miss the oil When you use it twice your generator develop fault.

Through out last week I've been running from one generator repairer to another until one of them draw my attention to it.
