*DWIDDLING FEDERAL REVENUE: EBONYI AMBASSADORS EULOGISE ENGR. ELIAS MBAM FOR REFORMS.*

Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement (EBAM), a social economic organisation advancing the interest and welfare of Ebonyians has showered encomiums on Engr. Elias Mbam Fnse, The Chairman, Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission for his Patriotic efforts and reforms aimed at revamping Nigeria's dwiddling revenue.


*In a press Statement made available to Newsmen online in Awka Anambra State, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu, National President Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement enskyied the helmsman of RMAFC describing him as an outstanding Ebonyian and a great Nigerian who has demostrated a clear understanding of the enermous task of revenue mobilisation and the challenge of revamping the dwindling resources and global downward economic trends in Nigeria, thus Initiative reforms that has led to revenue blockages as well as shoving up and expanding the sources of revenue to the Federation Account.*

lauded Engr. Mbam for embarking on inter–agency cooperation and collaboration inline with the constitutional mandate of RMAFC which gave rise to regular monitoring of relevant Agencies particularly Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development (MMSD).


Amb Timothy Nwachukwu revealed that the reforms embarked upon by Engr. Elias Mbam yeilded positive results as the Commission
recovered tax liabilities owed by Federal MDAs, State Governments and Local Government Councils, blocked leakages amounting to over one hundred and fifty billion naira among several others.

Ebonyi Ambassadors further eulogised Engr. Mbam for his renewed commitment, advocacy and efforts in emphasising the need for economic diversification on non-oil sector and less dependency on the oil sector to shore up the nation's revenue.
