Late chief Konam porbeni died as far back as 1980 and was buried in Abari the commercial axis of his community.
In his lifetime, he was a great man imbued with impeccable character and untainted integrity. He was a prominent chief and a paliamentarian. The values he held strongly to has become a trade mark for the porbeni dynasty.

On may 7th 2021, the revered aristocratic family porbeni decided to exhume the remains of their late father and two of his older brothers for proper re-burial in their ancestral home Aduku in sagbama local government of Bayelsa state .
