Arewa1stSon:Stop this one sided story you are spewing! Nlc president said categorically that he acknowledged that there are shortage of funds hence the need to reduce the workforce which is to declare redundancy of some workers! However when you are sacking workers, you must first meet with the union and explain why you are declaring them redundant and negotiate the severence package of the sacked workers! The day the state government is giving them a letter that relieves them of their services, their severence pay is handed to them including trainings to ensure that they go into any form of business to keep them active and being able to provide for their family members! All these are contained in the labour laws and the constitution which elrufai is fully aware of! But in his usual reckless and draconian behavior, he sacked the workers and gave them just a month salary! How does a worker who has been rendering services for 20 plus years survive on just that one salary for the rest of their lives? As for Benue state, its common knowledge that the state nlc is negotiating with the government to ensure payment of the backlog! That's the way to go rather than declaring the NLC president wanted! 2 Likes |

Arewa1stSon:Enyia, are u sure u still have sense? U so blinded by religion and region. U gat to change bc currently ur status as a a youth is not good for Nigeria growth. I want to be straight forward without sugar coating any word, ur comments are shame show of stupidity and illiteracy. A youth like u whom the welfare of people suppose to be his priority opened his mouth to condemn medical personels' strike and at the other hand pledged support for a persecutor, are u sure a kid can run to ur type for safety ? I swear I'm very disappointed at u and every body that reason same way with u. Change ur mentality |

Arewa1stSon:If Kaduna state government want to reduce the cost of governance why didn't they reduce the take home pay of Kaduna state House of Assembly members, state commissioners, special advisers and the likes? It is the retrenchment of Kaduna state civil servant that's the solution? 2 Likes |

Arewa1stSon: There's always a hidden agenda when it comes to you folks. If it was your parents or family member indiscriminately laid off work in such a manner by elrufai, would you be OK with it? Are you aware even the ones laid off work didn't receive their dues? Why is following the law so hard for you folks? Always comparing nonsense! When Benue people are tired, make dem go protest too. We go support them! 1 Like |

Nothing behind the protest aside the fact that he retrenched workers. When Osun owe workers salary no serious protest as well. So don't compare Benue who didn't retrench workers to kaduna who did. Nothing like hidden agenda Arewa1stSon: |
