There is nothing like North or south when it comes to resources.

All resources, whether they be North or south belong to Nigerians as a collective since we use resources from every part of this nation for the betterment of the nation.

The same way a husband's money is not just for him, but should be used to provide for his wife and children, so too our national assets should be used to develop Nigeria as a whole to ensure that Nigeria can compete globally against other nations.

We cannot be myopic, because tomorrow the North may find vast resources that will be the basis of the nation's wealth, and next tomorrow it could shift, so we have to understand that there is nothing like North and south when it comes to national resources.

We should focus on holding state governments accountable and not focusing on where the resources are coming, rather we should ensure that they are deployed properly.
