This is then President Goodluck Jonathan attending the funeral of the late General Andrew Azazi, who died in a helicopter crash on December 15, 2012, after serving Nigeria as National Security Adviser. Jonathan cleared his schedule, and traveled 500 miles to attend this funeral. General Muhammadu Buhari called his late Chief of Army Staff, General Ibrahim Attahiru, a “hero”, but Buhari did not attend his 30 minute funeral, which was just 15 miles from Aso Rock. Yet, the same Buhari travelled 4000 miles to Paris for 4 days. Even his deputy, Professor Yemi Osinbajo did not attend, yet Osinbajo last week traveled 2500 miles to Kampala. At this rate, why will anyone then want to die for Nigeria?

The absence of the C-in-C at the burial of COAS is cruel, lack of altruism & a display of selfish propensity.

Nigerians lambast Jonathan for singing, dancing at campaign rally while nation mourns bomb blast victims

Nigerians have reacted with outrage over President Goodluck Jonathan’s visit to Kano to welcome former governor of the state, Ibrahim Shekarau, to the Peoples Democratic Party, a day after a car bomb killed dozens of Nigeria and injured several others in a suburb of Abuja.

The government said 75 people died while 124 others were injured although body count by witnesses and a PREMIUM TIMES reporter suggest over 200 Nigerians were killed.

Insensitive, irresponsible, terrible, and wicked are some of the words that have been used to describe the president’s political visit to Kano.

“Let’s face it, is it even proper, as a father, for the president to be dancing at a rally and clinking glasses at a chief’s party just the day after?” said Betty Abah, journalist and activist. “What really would happen if he sends representatives while he pretends he’s meeting security chiefs? Even if he doesn’t care, is this even good for his image? What message is he sending out? He did same during the Centenary celebrations. How do you explain this crass insensitivity?”

“It is plain insensitive, really. It an evident that the leadership of this country does not take our lives seriously at all,” said activist lawyer, Bamidele Aturu.

“Over 200 people were killed by Boko Haram insurgents. Less than 24 hours later, the president was in Kano on political mission. That tells you they don’t take us seriously and our lives don’t count for much. That is the height of insensitivity I have seen in recent times,” he continued.

“He wouldn’t have lost anything if he had postponed the campaign for another one or two months and let the people who are bereaved come to terms with the gruesome reality,” he added.

Mr. Aturu said the President’s action showed the huge disconnect between Nigerians and their political leaders.

“Our people need to understand that there is a big disconnect between them and the people that leads them who only require them to vote to be in power.”

We know you Igbos hate PM and you are full of hatred and bitterness, history says GEJ remains the most heartless, cruel and uncaring president in the history of Nigeria.

A man that was so cruel and insensitive that when BH bombed and killed dozens of Nigerians in Abuja just a few miles away Aso Rock where he sleeps, instead of caring and showing empathy and even console the victims and their families, the heartless man flew over them to Kano to dance Azonto.

In less than 24 hours after Boko Haram killed over 200 Nigerians, the useless, uncaring and incompetent man thought flying to Kano to dance Azonto was his main priority.

That was the gross apex of insensitivity and irresponsibility, that useless and incompetent man remains the most useless president in the history of Nigeria.

Maybe it's coz Kanu is an Igbo man and ethnic shenanigans are in play...

If you have taken time to research his outbursts for some years now ( of which NO ONE can pin point a single lie) and still believe Buhari is still alive, then you need a mental evaluation.

End of.

A President,a nation and the zenith of abnormalities

It’s either President Buhari does not have advisers with brains, he does not listen to their advice or he is unadvisable.
How can the President sits in Aso Rock and not drive 15 minutes to the military cemetery to attend the burial of his Chief of Army Staff who died in an air crash less than 6 months after his appointment?
President Biden attended the laying in state of a Capitol policeman who died following an attack on the Capitol, that was an ordinary policeman not a police chief.
On January, 16 2016, President Barrack Obama flew from Washington DC to Dallas Texas about 3 hrs flight to attend the funeral of 5 law enforcement officers killed in shootings.
Our President cannot drive 15 minutes from Aso Rock to attend the funeral of his Chief of Army Staff.?
Would President Biden sit in the White House and be issuing statements through his aides while they are burying his serving Chief of Army staff or Boris Johnson would sit in No 10 Downing Street while they bury his serving Army Chief?
Hundreds of Nigerians would be killed and the president would barricade himself inside Aso Rock fortress and some clowns would be issuing stattments for him. He won’t even address the nation.
Any Nigerian who still think this is normal needs to see a psychiatrist.
