Why did Gulak leave his hotel without informing any security agency or government of Imo state? Gulak should have known that he had political enemies in Imo APC considering that he outsmarted the Okorocha group from continuing to misgovern Imo state . |

Wike is not Igbo. Therefore, Wike is not expected to understand any political undercurrents in Igbo land; he is not in APC, therefore not expected to understand the politics that might have led to Gulak’s assassination. Most of the population in Imo state loved Gulak for his role in the 2019 APC guber primaries in Imo state. Those behind his assassination must be political losers. Imo state politics was rendered filthy by the Supreme Court judgement that saw Hope Uzodinma in the office he never merited. And he has made a mess of the office. Wike says he is Rivers man, whatever that means - no dictionary in the world defines anyone from Nigeria as Rivers man or Rivers people. Wike must not poke nose into Igbo affair. He is an upstart who found himself unfortunately in position of authority by accident during the Jonathan administration. |
