For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Here are 8 ways to be acknowledge as a true Child Of God. 1) By receiving Jesus Christ into our life (hope), receiving the Holy Ghost (Righteousness) and seeking above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2) By worshipping the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father seeketh such to worship Him 3) By abiding in Christ, keeping His doctrines and words. 4) By giving thanks, praise and glorifying God. 5) By bearing fruits, preaching the gospel and saving lost souls. 6) By loving peace, mercy, humility and forgiveness. 7) By doing things that pleases God. 8 By loving one another. LeastServant:Jesus Christ gave us about 56 commandment to obey but here you only list 8 as being important. Is that to suggest that the other 48 or more commandments are of less importance?  Did Jesus Christ not teach us to observe all of the commandments from the greatest to the least - Matthew 23 vs 23 - so how can a one who only observes about 8 of His commandments be considered a "true child of God"? |

Kobojunkie: Jesus said abide in My Words. He gave only two commandments which we are to obey. "love God with your hearts, soul, mind and strenght and love thy neighbours as thyself. |

LeastServant:Where do you say Jesus Christ made this statement to you? Please provide a biblical reference of Jesus Christ actually telling you that there are ONLY two commandments to obey. |

LeastServant:Jesus Christ is God's New Covenant Law/agreement of the Kingdom of God promised by The Almighty through His prophets - Jeremiah 31 vs 31 -34. He came with a light yoke and an easy burden( a new agreement) for those who were weary and heavy laden. The New Covenant Law comes complete with it's own set of blessings, curses, seals, promises, commandments, rituals and even entry requirements. all separate from the Old Covenant Law of Moses and complete for the Kingdom of God. There are about 56 commandments contained in the teachings of Jesus Christ of which you greatest that you mentioned. are just that, the 2 greatest. In Matthew 23 vs 23, Jesus Christ commanded a curse on those who will focus on just some laws, ignoring the others. Ofcourse it is against the Law to you to put one foot in the New Covenant and the other foot in the Old Covenant. Instead do not store New Wine in Old Wineskin is what Jesus Christ commands also commands. |

LeastServant:Jesus Christ Himself said in John 15 vs 14 that those who are His friends are those who do what He asks/commands them to do, and if , if you spent time reading through the 4 Gospels, you will find that Jesus Christ gave more than 60 comandments/rules to obey. So, ask yourself, do you believe on Jesus Christ and do what He says, even as John the apostle declares, or do you look for yourself reasons why you should ignore the Words of Jesus Christ every moment you can? |
