The governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma has sacked all Special Advisers (SAs) and Senior Special Assistant (SSAs) in his cabinet.

The news was made public by his Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Prints, Modestus Nwamkpa through social media.

Recall that the governor had earlier given the marching order to his twenty commissioners, sparing eight including the commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.

It was reported that the sacked commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget Implementation, Dr. C. C. Osuala has been reappointed earlier today.

Meanwhile, our correspondent learned that new appointees shall be made public within the shortest possible time.

This Supreme Court man is just spinning around and behaving confused these days. Winning the supreme court lottery has been like a curse to him. Nebuchadnezzar sef enjoyed his govt pass this man.

This SA is becoming disgraceful. When you have commissioners, what do you need them for? Unnecessary spending and bureaucracy with limited budget is not sustainable.
Some of them do not perform any job other than being used as political compensation for loyalists.

Good move, it's time our governors start right/down sizing their political appointees to align with the economic realities on ground.

And financial transparency in contract fund is very key at a time like this. Contract inflation is the major area where there thiefy politicians defraud our common wealth.

Moreso, estacode and remuneration should be utterly abolished both traditional and constirurional wise.

Avarice is the major attraction that people have in politics and not necessarily to make a positive change.

Remove money and power issue from politics and see how lean the traffic in Nigeria politics will be.

Because he never won any election. You have Sharia Chief Judge with no certificate presiding in Supreme Court picking and choosing who will govern their vassal states in the South/East

The best thing he should and can do is to resign...
