Thos of you insulting our intelligence forces over this post should think again. This arrests was possible because those criminals were linked to the system and the government had a comprehensive database. In our case in Nigeria, how many people are connected to the system? And those that are even connected, are they not the ones screaming against the NIN/SIM linkage? There's only little our security agencies can work with esp as the country does not have a comprehensive database of it's citizens.

Where is our DSS? This is what intelligence means not going around abusing people's right with zero evidence.

Up till date Nigerian government useless agencies are only good at massacring unarmed innocent citizens and are yet to arrest single one Boko Haram iswap, ISIS and all the other fulani terrorist sponsors in the North and Sahel regions.

The same Arab countries also have populaitons lower than 35 million poeple. Nigeria has 200 million people..and produces the same amount of oil as the UAE.

Plus all those oil produciers are good for nothing...they invent nothing and manufacture nothing.

Because both are subsidized to an extent that there isn't enough profit to fix things up for us to have constant power and refineries

Plus, as regards power, when you pay less than the cost of production plus when 40% of customers don't pay...where do you expect the sector to get money

As for oil...in the name of subsidy...prices of petrol have been below the production cost since the late 1980's. This led to the refineries getting damaged, rusted...because they were not profitably run...and thus we became a net importer...and still subsidise the petrol below the cost of its importation. (now done at NNPC's expense.)
