That is not totally correct. I wonder where you got this information. There are times were strict deterrent caution the behavior of a person.

A truly mature person does not waste their time trying to change others by criticizing them; instead, they devote their time and energy to improving themselves. People are accepted for who they are by them.

A mature person forgives and forgets, and they do not seek retribution.
A mature person does not harbor grudges or harbor animosity toward those who have offended them. Instead, they choose to forgive, forget, and let fate deal with those who have wronged them.

Assertion not correct. Always forgiving people set precedence for others to continue an act. They tend to use religious beliefs to lure people to forgive ( emotional blackmail)

5. A mature person learns to keep their distance from people who are toxic to him or her.
Peace of mind, self-respect, and self-worth are all extremely essential to mature individuals, which is why they avoid toxic friendships as much as possible.
