The 30% credited to Hausa, which I believe is all the northern States of Nigeria has over 10% of Southerners and Easterners living in the north who also undergo population count in the north.with this development, the 30% figure for the Hausa's is no longer realistic.

It will only interest you to know that by figure, Yorubas and Igbos are by and large the most populated ethnicities in Nigeria.
