Normally I would agree.

But should we continue to show deference to elders who don't give a damn about the next generation after them? Since 1970s these elders (including OBJ and PMB) are the architects of all what we're experiencing. They inherited a working country with promise, but have managed to just ruin it.

Nigeria that should be rubbing shoulders with Brazil and South Korea... we have at least 100 million people who don't have access to potable, chlorinated water in this 2021. Can't one of them say: "OK, I will leave a lasting legacy for the young ones"? Just to chop and chop and chop (they don't even bother to clean mouth anymore).

These elders should not vex me this morning abeg. angry

Hmmm. I think the title is not decent enough.
However, HE Pa Obasanjo still remiains the only President of SW extraction that punished a SW Lagos State in opposition by withholding our Local government funds for years until a Fulani man (Late HE Musa Yardua) of same PDP became the President and released our LGA funds. I am in 100% agreement with you. Sometimes you need an evil man to help showcase your strength. That act of evil was what Tinubu needed to prove that he can lead well in times of crisis and generate revenue even if Lagos stands alone. It’s time for Lagos to secede from Nigeria. Other negative forces are hindering our meteoric progress now.

Yes he should give respect to elders, but he is saying the truth. The current myraid of problems confronting us as a nation didn't start today. These are the dividends of long period of visionless and incompetent leadership.

What took them this late to reply Obasanjo?

Are they still rehearsing the response to Soyinka on his interview with Arise TV?

Adesina will see the light after Buhari's tenure and I hope it won't be too late.

just like Ruben Abati, Doyin Okupe and Reno Omokri. Lets not forget, they are the past adminostrations equivalent to Garba Shehu, Femi Adeshin and the other useless fulani Boy on twitter

That is because an average south westerner when not in good terms with his fellow southwesterner will want to totally destroy the opponent or perceived opponent and this is usually due to more of ego, pride and envy while the average northerner easily forgives and overlooks and only take insult to religion very extreme and unforgivable.

As usual, another gaffe by this govt.

In which capacity is Adesina writing to attack OBJ? As a spokesperson? Or as a representative of Buhari?

Adesina is not smart enough to know that even his boss won't use those words against OBJ. OBJ was by far his Boss's senior. He was more of a civil war hero than his boss.

Adesina now speaks of events that happened when he was a little boy just because he is a spokesperson of the presidency

All over the world regardless of the situation, the leaders always unite patriotically with positive and supporting utterances in favor of their country, but not in Nigeria where most of the leaders are just too clueless, they make reckless and irresponsible statements, you hear them say despicable things like Nigeria is on fire, Nigeria is about to explode, Nigeria is about to break up into a million pieces and on and on and on like little kids.

Supposedly statemen acting like stale and insane men.

Bunch of unpatriotic, self-serving and self-righteous losers..

Keep quiet oga. By the time OBJ was leaving office in 79..1 naira was 1.8 dollars. He c.ame back and cleared all our debts. If you don't know about governance, you won't realise that he remains the best leader we have ever had...

Stop speaking like a child.

These people are totally shameless. Six years gone by and we’re still on blame games!

In Nigeria the people are more matured than their government. And by "the people" I don’t mean the north. Too much envy and hate for the South in the heart of those ones.

APC will always look for someone to blame. If they don't blame EndSars, they will blame June 12, if they don't have blame jack they will blame Jonathan, or Twitter. They still keep sponsor Bandit to make more money
