We currently have an international job opening in Euro-asia that is seriously recruiting foreign TRAINED/UNTRAINED teachers to come and teach. Successful applicants who are Citizens / Non Permanent Residents (PR) may be offered employment on contract terms.

Contract TermsSuccessful applicants will be awarded an initial teaching contract period of 1 to 3 years.

RemunerationTrained foreign teachers will receive a salary based on their teaching experiences and academic qualifications.

In addition to the monthly salary, the annual remuneration package will include the following:

1) A variable Non-Pensionable Annual Allowance (NPAA) equivalent to 1-month’s gross salary, 2) An Annual Variable Component (AVC) at the end of the year, subject to the country\'s overall economic performance, and 3) A Performance Bonus, subject to the officer’s performance. Contract gratuity is paid upon successful completion of the contract. This contract gratuity is paid in lieu of CPF contributions.

Allowances for those residing overseasThe following are provided to foreign teachers who are residing overseas:

1) Inbound economy air passage on first appointment, and return economy air passage on completion of your contract. 2) Relocation allowance. 3) Home Leave upon contract renewal. Application

4) Two dependent sponsorship

5) Travelling document borne by the government. 6) Access to government facilities at a subsidised rate.

2. Teacher Training Schemes for ‘O’ Level Holders to teach in Euroasia
The Art & Music Teacher Training Scheme is designed for GCE/WAEC ‘O’ Level holders who wish to become teachers in Euroasian secondary schools.

This is a 4-year diploma course and students will study for the first 3 years at the Nanyang Academy (NAFA) and the final year at the National Institute of Education (NIE).

Students will graduate with a Diploma in Art (Teaching) or a Diploma in Music (Teaching) from NAFA and a Diploma in Art Education or Diploma in Music Education from NIE.
Graduates from this scheme will be deployed to teach in Secondary schools.

Tuition fees for all trainee teachers are fully paid by the Ministry of Education. The total training period under this scheme is 4 years.
While undergoing training at NAFA during the first 3 years, candidates will receive a monthly bursary of $800. During the 4th year at NIE, trainee teachers will receive a monthly salary (inclusive of CPF and year-end bonus).
Upon the completion of their NIE training, they will serve a 5-year teaching bond, teaching Art or Music in our secondary schools.
