Yes, the UK Parliament in the upper house will debate on the manner in which MNK was kidnapped from Kenya, but I am certain that this is not going to result in any castigation of the Buhari Government for the following reasons.

1. Post Brexit, the UK is broke and heavily in debt, they are forging new trade partnerships and are hoping that the Buhari regime will give them favourable trade deals.

2. The UK Government has not made any statement with regards to the abduction of MNK, they are unlikely to do so, except something serious happens to MNK

3. The current UK High Commissioner is in cahoots with the Northern elite and has been globetrotting that region to ensure that the relationship is as close as ever. The UK knows that a new Nigeria may undermine their interests, so they will not support the South - period.

4. The lower house in UK Parliament has not made any comment on the abduction of MNK, this is the house that really matters.

5. Whatever action is taken will be prolonged, tedious and likely end up with no consequence just like EndSars.

The UK is not your friend or partner - they are the main supporter of genocide and terrorism worldwide - just ask the victims of their colonial past including India and Pakistan and also the Kenyans. The UK today continues to arm Saudi Arabia who is comitting war crimes and massacres in Yemen.

We are going to win, but it is not because of the UK, it will be in spite of the UK.

Kanu is like the Gerry Adams of the IRA and Sinn Féin. People should study how UK reacted to him to understand the stance they are likely to take regarding Kanu, though, hypocrisy is always an option.
