Don't be stupid.

Nobody is asking Buhari to continue, neither is he interested.

The fact remains, rotational presidency isn't constitutional but a gentleman's agreement, a convention which the party that employed it at the beginning has long abandoned.

Is the English Language too difficult for you to understand?

Wether you believe in it or not. , events from 2023 will surely force you to vomit the presidency! All these sma sma na initial gra gra. Nobody is begging you to hand over. You will do so by yourself to survive the heat that will follow... Abacha insisted on retaining power in the 90s, the same way you guys are doing today. In the end, it was your elites that conspired to eliminate him so you can hand over to Obasanjo and save yourselves... Power and presidency is not your birthright! Going forward, that presidency will be so hot in your hands post 2023 that you will beg to surrender that to get some air..

The A - Z of everything here now and in the entire Nigeria configuration is that "NIGERIA IS EXPIRED".

Let's STOP deceiving ourselves. There can NEVER be peace and love amongst the Nigerian people anymore.
Buhari's administration has worsened it all.

Final solution - Divide Nigeria or go into True Federalism.

You are very correct from a strict legal point of view, but don't you think or agree that rotational presidency idea is good for the unity n peace of nigeria base on our history and prevailing circumstances?

The reason people like you are not, and can't be successful in business, because of selfish gains you can't keep to simple agreement, looking for legal backing to short change others against the backdrop of agreed terms.

Northerners and greed are like 5&6...

PDP has been telling the world about their intentions to have a northern presidential candidate come 2023, yet Ohanaeze that has been the party's lackey for over 20 years can't channel their strength in that direction of opposition. Once it involves the APC, you see them barring their fangs like some slithering creature.

Rather than provide evidence to make a point on the issue at hand, some group of elders who are supposed to be representatives of a larger group result to joke.
This is how they will be looking around for who say what till presidency will sleep of their hands in 2023.
Have you noticed that no one from that region has shown interest? Yet they want presidency.
They now ride behind the Yorubas under the umbrella of power must go to the South.

Even though rotational presidency was agreed upon before
South East shouldn’t be part of rotational Presidency for now

Then allow then have their country now!!!, I don't understand how everybody keeps talking about how the southeast are troublesome, don't know politics, want to scatter the country when majority were not even in support of the so called IPOB until Buhari decided widen the ethnic and religious devide in the country....

If they are not fit to be the president of the country because of a few of them causing issues, even though they are among the 3 major tribes...allow them go now!!!.

Not that I'm aware of.

It appears many of you don't get the point.

It is a noble gesture and ideally it should be in the constitution, yet it isn't.

Very interesting analogy...
It's greedy for the South South that feeds you to be in the presidency for 2 full terms but totally understandable to you, for your lords in the North to rule for eternity, even though they obviously contribute nada apart from mayhem, choas an economic brigandage....?

South south doesnt feed nigeria. Oil is the biggest problem of nigeria.
Nigeria was far better off without the discovery of oil.
Besides food actually comes from the north. You cant eat oil
