Senate Passes Bill Allowing Electronic Transmission Of INEC Results by TheRareGem1(f): 2:00pm On Jul 15, 2021
Senators have passed electronic transmission of results as part of Electoral Act Amendment Bill currently being read for a 3rd time.

Before INEC can transmit electronically, NCC must adjudge national coverage is adequate and secure, and National Assembly must approve.

The passage of the section of the bill has caused a conflict in the chamber and many lawmakers have resorted to heated arguments over Senate President Ahmad Lawan's ruling, an opposition led by Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, and mostly PDP Senators.

How dare they pass that idea from the south (which is a coup d'etat) against the north, the south wants to rig the election, we will respond soon...

Sane Nigerians, let’s commend ourselves for this back to back victory.

Our two major projects have been achieved.

First was to make sure Lauretta ‘Palmwine drinker’ Onochie does not get cleared as INEC commissioner, we achieved it.

Second was to ensure that the Senate accept Electronic transfer of results to sanitize our electoral process, and we achieved it.

No street demonstrations, just social media bombardments.

Thank you sane Nigerians!

Because left for zombies, they will be hailing their darling daddy even if this country is set ablaze. Very stupid set of idiots they are.

When you talk, you're repeating what you already know - but if you listen, you may learn something new.

Finally they did one reasonable thing but still they peg 5 billion for presidential election and 1 billion for governorship in the bill

They cannot do something totally right.

The fear is that they will not be able to turn in 1.9million votes from war-torn Borno and other Northern states if electronic transmission of result is used.

we are getting there gradually.

That entitlement that they are the ones to decide where the president comes from will be checked soon.
