It's because they got away with such behavior in the past that they employed Buhari and his cohorts to come and steal everything in sight for them! Now they're basically trying to rewrite the constitution that already favors them , simply because they feel that the docile South will allow them to hang on to power for ever! Everything associated with the amendment of the electoral law is tailored to suit Northern dominance of Nigerias politics and should be resisted..

When it matters a lot the Yurobas will chicken out, just like the always do, if not tell me why literally all the senators from South west voted against electronic voting, just please the Fulanis with hope that Buhari will give them power. The greatest surprise of the century will be Buhari handing over to another Fulani from another party, sure it will happen all it will take is for them to decamp.

A major problem the South has is how it underestimates the North. Their minders have led a majority of them to believe that the northerner is an unschooled slowpoke who only progresses through connections. Despite northerners that became billionaires by dint of hard work, intellectuals that have pushed the frontiers of scholarship, leaders that have provided impeccable administrations to great applause and politicians that rose like the colossus to dominate their environments, the average southerner still gets bamboozled – and envious – by the way the northerner dictates what goes where.
But a pertinent question to ask is, why do people kick against federal character yet want a position zoned, rotated or surrendered to them? If they are as intelligent and educated as they think they are, then they should know that politics is all about bridge-building, consensus and give and take.

Nigeria can't get it right with the present state of affairs. The Executive is on life support. The Legislature is corrupt and self-serving while the Judiciary is discombobulated.

The beauty of this is that when APC returns to opposition they will regret no supporting this electronic transmission. But as is the case with our politicians, they are only concerned about the now.

You guys dont want to build bridges. Unlike other civilized people around the world northerners don't want to negotiate with NON MUSLIMS. It's extremely irrational and backwards. They have passed sharia law all across the north despite christian minorities and now want to go down south and do the same thing. I don't understand why they don't understand the difference between religion and state!

How can you negotiate with someone who thinks that you are not human because you are not muslim? Despite the fact we are all abrahamic faiths

We are all not blind.. we know there are serious problems in Nigeria, i am a northerner and a Muslim but i criticize Buharis adminstration on so many grounds....he has failed! But everything should have limit

We should focus on getting things fixed and not insulting or abusing which will never change anything but worsen the situation.

But what i observed is that most people hate the north simply because we are different, which is very disgusting!

Everyone has his shortcomings and i dont believe in tribalism...
