No wonder Ghana is progressing while Nigeria is retrogressing. If a leaders of tomorrow can behave like this its an indication that there is brighter future for such country. Alas Nigerian youths would rather gathers and sing praises to such useless polithiefican.

Jobs or rice, which is easier to give. You no collect the one wey you see.

Typical Naija mentality.
Little wonder, the politicians here use 3cups of rice to get votes and support for 8yrs and some even more.

Seniorwriter, can u see what I am talking about? Citizens stamping their authority

As they have demanded jobs if the leadership vision is not in tandem their demands for it is Null/DOA.....
However if they had young visionary leaders representing them there wouldn't be any gap in vision or idea because they'll be in constant communication knowing the electorates voted them there to actualize progress in unison!

lexy2014:

Is giving them rice in tandem with their demands? That's what people power is all about. Keeping political representatives on their toes. The people must keep on making demands until what they want is achieved.

Your analogy is like putting the cart before the horse if it's followed come 2023.
Let me ask you in plain language....
#Would you rather we vote in young visionary leaders come 2023 then keep them on the watch
or

#We vote in any Jones or Harry then try to keep them on the watch like Ghana is doing...pls kindly make your choice in these options I just stated so we could stop the whole convo and move on once your choice is made known on this public space.

For me ill go with the first

We need young visionary leadership in Nigeria ...kindly join the campaign....

Proactivity Leads To Productivity!

Cheers.

It was sarcasm but the fact that Ghanaians can reject food means they are not as hungry as Nigerians who some are eating grass maybe if you are hungry up to that point you will understand that only few Nigerians can resist food
The message is purely for the youths in Nigeria to wake up.
Politicians are all the same in most countries, if the citizens don't demand value and accountability from the leaders, the politicians will not Deliver.

These are youths that are no longer foolish. I am waiting for the time when Nigerian youths and voters in general will take off their foolishness and vote for genuinely concerned candidates. I say "foolishness" because anybody that accepts peanuts (e.g. N5,000, a plate of food, a small bag of rice, a branded wrapper, etc ) to vote for the candidate and indeed vote for that candidate thinks that the peanut will sustain him for four years. That person is foolish. He that knows that his political candidate is corrupt and of no good intention, but votes for him/her because of party allegiance is equally foolish.
