It's therefore a wonderful idea to abandon it and tie down billions of Rivers state funds benefitting nobody.

If you understand it is your money, will you like it left in this state
If after a comprehensive review of the project documents, and reconsidering the feasibility and economic importance of the project, and the project got red-flagged, then it shouldn't continue.
It would be left to rot away, and a summary of studies and reviews published, so that the public will know the true reasons for discontinuing the project.

yeah the government should intervene so that money can be approved for repairing that place, at least that place will bring in investors

Its really a sorry case my brother. Beheading the head should not be an antidote for headache! In other case, abandoning the project shouldn't be the solution as this can never bring back the embezzled fund. It's well!!

Nigerian Political especially the southern governors are the most useless and clueless despite 13%.
I understand Amechi embezzled, but nothing stop Wike at least to continue the project after his first term. The project is meant for masses not their family.

Instead of rivers citizen to beg him to continue the project, they are still pointing accusing fingers on Amechi and Wike will soon finish his eight years in government.

I beg, if Wike joins APC tomorrow, who will stop him. Don't trust any politician but collect whatever belong to masses from them.

leadership has really been the unmaking of this country.
What about all those Nigerians who trash everywhere, they give bribes to get around rules ,the Yahoo boys, crimnal minded area boys ,oloshos ,kidnappers ,ritualists ...you wanna convince us all these are in leadership too?

Leaders are often a reflection of the larger society.
